Dead Sky Publishing 
Dead Sky Publishing’s mission is to be the go-to destination for book-ish misfits. Our publishing efforts are focused on stories that are inherently dark, and bold in vision. We strive to find new voices, explore new worlds, and to defy the conventional.
We seek dark fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels in alignment with our mission in the following genres: horror, crime, thriller, mystery, science fiction, and fantasy.
We are open for submissions and are looking for full-length manuscripts for standalone works, series, and short story collections (approximately 40k words – 90k words).

  • Formatting and grammar of your submission should be in APA style for accessibility of reading. All submissions should be sent as Word attachments.

Death’s Head Press 
Death’s Head Press is an imprint of Dead Sky Publishing that publishes the darkest niches of the horror genre. We are best known for ushering in the Splatter Western. We revel in extreme horror, splatterpunk, and transgressive fiction.
We seek horror in alignment with our mission. It should be visceral, it should make us squirm, it should be transgressive. We seek work that can splatter a genre. We are NOT looking for works of extreme horror focused on rape.

Dark Flow Press

Dark Flow Press, an imprint of Dead Sky Publishing, is dedicated to elevating original voices in horror sci-fi. Our mission is to support creators crafting immersive, terrifying futures where science amplifies fear and the unknown is always watching.

We seek horror sci-fi and cosmic horror suffused with sustained dread, tension, and/or existential fear. Isolation, unknown/incomprehensible phenomena, human limits vs tech, and survival under extreme scientific or cosmic conditions are just some of the themes we seek.
